The Wynnum Manly Historical Society is involved in, and conducts, affordable heritage tours to places in South East Queensland throughout the year. These tours are open to members and visitors.

Wednesday, 20 September 2017 – Brisbane River cruise to the Bremer River junction

Cruise the Brisbane River to the mouth/junction of the Bremer River passing Indooroopilly Island, Lone Pine, Seventeen Mile Rocks and the suburbs of Westlake, River Hills and the Moggill Car Ferry. Wonderful mansions and new developments feature on this scenic cruise.

This cruise is only run a few times each year as it is subject to tidal restrictions.

Cost is $65.00 which includes the cruise, morning and afternoon tea, BBQ lunch and an informative commentary from the boat’s skipper.

The cruise commences at Mowbray Park, East Brisbane at 9.15am and returns to Mowbray Park at approximately 3.30pm.
