Our aim is to gather and record local history before it is lost

Oral Histories

Oral History Project

Our oral history project, Bayside Stories, is now up and running. If you would like to share your memories of the Wynnum Manly area, please contact Sharee Cordes via email oralhistory@wmhs.org.au or by phone on 0408 232 158 who will arrange a convenient time to meet with you to discuss the project.

The project will wind up in May culminating in a presentation of some short digital stories during Heritage Week.  Stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.

In the meantime, there is still time to come forward with any history of the area you would like to share.
